I am RNDr. Katarína Klepáčová, a forensic expert in the field of Forensic Handwriting Examination, specializing in Handwriting Analysis. I obtained my education at the International School of Forensic Document Examination in the USA from the years 2009 to 2011. I acquired professional experience at the Institute of Forensic Engineering at the University of Žilina, where I am currently employed.

Since 2013, I have been a member of the  Association of Czech and Slovak Forensic Handwriting Examiners (CSFHE), annually participating in regular seminars, scientific projects, and biannually in proficiency tests. These proficiency tests are quality assessment trials aimed to ensure professional competence.

I am actively involved in the association as both a lecturer and a translator of specialized articles from the English language. Thanks to the collaboration of the association with the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and its working group, the European Network of Forensic Handwriting Examiners (ENFHEX), I have access to the latest procedures of forensic handwriting examination. These procedures enhance the quality of acquired information and establish reliable evidence. Moreover, I attended ENFEX conferences held in Delft and Riga in the years 2011 and 2013.

I began to professionally engage in the Forensic Handwriting Examination in 2001 when I was involved in a dispute concerning the validity of a holographic will. Originally, I graduated in Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology and Applied Geophysics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava, but the previously mentioned private case of will forgery intrigued me to such an extent that I decided to pursue a career in Forensic Handwriting Examination.
