The forensic expert examination in the field of Forensic Handwriting Examination, specializing in Handwriting Analysis, I provide is for courts, the Police of the Slovak Republic, natural or legal persons.

Services include:

Preparation of a  expert opinion in written form – expert report

Professional consultations – either by phone or in person by appointment.
Consultations are free of charge.

The aim of forensic handwriting examination is:

Authentification of questioned signatures.

Identification of the author of questioned handwriting.

Identification of the author of forged signatures and handwriting forgeries.
The author can be determined only in certain cases.

04

Determination of the similarity between multiple handwritten texts.


Price for expert reports

The price for an expert opinion (expert reports), i.e., expert fees, is determined according to the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the SR No. 491/2004 Coll. on remuneration, reimbursements of expenses, and compensation for lost time for experts, interpreters, and translators. The total expert fee consists of remuneration, reimbursement of actual expenses, and compensation for lost time.

As per Act No. 382/2004 Coll., the forensic handwriting expert and the client (excluding the court and other public authorities) may agree on a contractual fee, i.e., the price for the expert opinion by contractual agreement. If they do not agree on a contractual fee, the expert is entitled to a tariff fee.

The tariff fee for a handwriting expert is calculated at an hourly rate, as specified in the Decree. The hourly rate is established according to the time spent on providing forensic handwriting examinations, set at €19.92 for each hour started.

The forensic handwriting expert - a natural person, is not a VAT payer.
